On Friday, over 40 employers stopped by to meet our latest graduates! Twenty-two members of cohort 23 shared their capstone projects one-on-one with the companies in attendance. (Three of them already have jobs!)

Demo Day was the culmination of six-months of learning for Cohort 23. Here is a snapshot of what they learned:

• Front-end development using HTML/CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and AngularJS, along with lots of other tools including APIs, libraries, and frameworks
• Server-side development with Node.js and JavaScript, including test-driven development, and SQL in a full agile, mock-company environment

After Demo Day ended, Cohort 23 gathered for their graduation “ceremony” where they received some words of wisdom from their lead instructor, Joe Shepherd.

Cohort 23 was great at teaching each other. They bought into the teamwork concept wholeheartedly, which will serve them extremely well when they join new teams out in the workplace. - Joe Shepherd
