We’re now accepting applications for our part-time, evening UI & UX for Digital Product Design course!

Nashville is a creative community. As you look around this vibrant city, you’ll find interactive digital in music, healthcare, transportation, education, entertainment, and publishing. In fact, you would be hard pressed to find an industry that does NOT have interactive digital products, environments, systems, or services.

Whether you’re a graphic designer, creative director, entrepreneur, project manager, product manager, designer, or developer, if you’re looking to add Interaction Product Design, UI Design, UX Design, and Front-End Development to your skill set, our UI & UX for Digital Product Design course may be for you. Our most recent class learned a lot! Here is how the course helped a few of our grads.

ROLANDO

Rolando had just graduated from our Software Development Bootcamp and was searching for his first job as a developer when he joined the UI & UX course. During the course, Rolando landed his first developer job as a Jr. App Developer for a local marketing agency. He attributes the course for giving him the edge to land the job. Today, Ronaldo uses the UI & UX design skills and principles he learned when designing new apps and websites for the agency’s clients.

I learned to think about the user first while designing/developing a product...Design for the user, not for yourself.

RHONDA

Rhonda has been a graphic designer for 25 years. She has spent most of her career working in the engineering department for a mid-sized company on new product development and documentation. She recently moved to the marketing department and found the UI & UX for Digital Product Design course a great way to refresh her career. Rhonda shared, “It helped me further refine my skill set. I was able to present my versatile set of skills to management in new terms and inspire new ways for them to utilize my abilities.”

BLAIR

After completing a 6 month bootcamp at NSS, Blair realized he wanted to focus more on UX and enrolled in the UI & UX for Digital Product Design course. The course really inspired Blair. He shared, “Susan Culkin’s (instructor) approach to teaching is like her approach to design, human centered.” In Blair’s current job he uses many of the things he learned in the UI & UX course, including tools like Sketch, Flinto and InVision.
