First coding bootcamp in the Southeast U.S. to be approved.

Nashville Software School (NSS) is proud to announce that our full-time Web Developer Bootcamp has been approved by the Tennessee State Approving Agency for Veterans Education and Training. We are the first coding bootcamp program in the Southeast U.S. approved to accept the GI Bill^® and one of the first five in the entire country.

Career opportunities are very strong for web developers and software engineers. According to the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics, the number of job opportunities available in software engineering related industries is expected to grow at a rate of 17 percent through 2024. These are well-paying jobs with a strong future, exactly the types of jobs our military veterans deserve access to as they transition to civilian life.

This achieves a goal we set four years ago when we started NSS. Our military veterans and their families have earned all of our support in accelerating their transition into a high demand, well paid career field. We have had veterans graduate from NSS and we have welcomed applications from veterans but this approval allows us to potentially serve a much higher number of veterans.

With the GI Bill^®, qualifying veterans and their dependents are eligible to get up to 100% of any vocational training program reimbursed. If eligible, those who hold the following benefits may be able to apply them to their NSS tuition: The Post-9/11 GI Bill^®; Montgomery GI Bill^® – Active Duty (MGIB-AD); Montgomery GI Bill^® – Selected Reserve (MGIB-SR); Reserve Educational Assistance Program (REAP); Veterans Educational Assistance Program (VEAP); Survivors’ and Dependents’ Educational Assistance Program (DEA).
