Nashville Software School Sponsors Craft Content 2016

This year, Nashville Software School is once again proudly sponsoring Craft Content Nashville. The event is presented annually as an “unconference” for creative writers, podcasters, publishers and others who enjoy and work with content. Formerly known as PodCamp Nashville, the program is open to everyone interested in using online media to share ideas. NSS is among other great sponsors of the event, including Google Fiber, Raven, and our new neighbors Nashville Technology Council. We plan to listen to industry leaders and fellow community members as they tell their stories, lead discussions and demonstrations, and show us strategies and techniques used to share stories through words, pictures, audio, video and beyond.

NSS Alumni will be participating at the unconference as speakers and Craft Content event producers. Max Trenkle is this year’s Craft Content Chair and Edwin Acevedo is the Production Coordinator. Additionally, Ayumi Fukuda Bennett and her team from Startup Southerner will be speaking. If you are an alumni, community partner or an employer of our graduates, or if you are at Craft Content and you are looking into options for learning software development, please reach out and say hello using the hashtag #CCN16 on both Facebook and Twitter.

Our sponsorship is one of the contributions back to the Nashville creative tech community that NSS makes over the course of the year. We will be sponsoring a number of the locally-produced grassroots technology community events in Nashville during 2016. We, and particularly our students, benefit from tremendous support from Nashville’s technologists and we feel it’s important to our mission as a community-focused non-profit to return that support.

The unconference will be held on April 9th, 2016 at the Nashville Nossi College of Art. The day starts at 9:00 am. Register here for more information.
