I like decisions being made because there is data there as opposed to [decisions just based on] ‘it just feels right’.
What was the topic of your capstone and how did you choose it?
“Determining how ‘clean’ the electricity used in an Electric Vehicle really is and what progress the U.S. is making to make it cleaner.”
What was your favorite part of your NSS experience?
“My favorite parts of the NSS experience were the ‘aha’ moments where my understanding of the subject matter finally clicks.”
What roadblocks did you encounter along the way?
“Moving into a technical profession, the specific usage of terminology was often different from my own. You've got to ask questions!”
What advice would you give to current or incoming NSS Data students?
“Seek to understand. Always ask questions.”
