Noah Husain of Full-time Web Development Cohort 48 at Nashville Software SchoolBefore embarking on his software development journey, Noah Husain of Web Development Cohort 48 was working as a Front Office Lead for one of California's largest pediatric dental chains. “At the onset of the pandemic, I lost my job and decided to pivot my career towards software development,” he explains.

Software Development has been an amazing skill to learn and I can't wait to use it out in the growing field to create awesome apps!

What was your favorite capstone project and what about it made it your favorite?

“My favorite capstone project was for sure Galactapedia, my back-end capstone. Building the server out and sending requests through Postman and getting a response back was one of the most amazing feelings to get. Then working on the front-end and connecting the server I built to my client-side code yielded a similar amount of joy and in the end I can say it was a blast to build!”

What advice would you give to current or incoming NSS Web Development students?

“Ask lots of questions, even the questions you think are dumb!”

What was your favorite part of your NSS experience?

“The people in my cohort and instructors at NSS by far were the most amazing part of the program. Each of the instructors were so patient and so willing to sacrifice their free time after class to ensure that we got the support we needed to be successful in the program. Not only were the instructors willing to help, but my classmates as well, whenever I ran into a roadblock, found a bug, or just needed a line of code clarified. Overall, the people made the NSS experience a pleasure for me to be part of!”
