Joshua Hughes of Full-time Web Development Cohort 45 at Nashville Software SchoolJoshua Hughes of Full-time Web Development Cohort 45 shares that although he may not have had much experience coming into it, the experience at NSS is immense, and he has come out the other side more knowledgeable and capable than he could have imagined! “My end goal in life is to one day get a job working with video games,” he smiles, “But I will be happy working anywhere as long as I'm coding.”

What was your favorite capstone project and why?

“[My front-end capstone project,] Bring On The Challenge. It was a work of passion and something I hope to work on further.”

What advice would you give to current or incoming NSS Web Development students?

“This program can be very stressful, but the enjoyment [what I was] learning made the entire process worth the time.”

What roadblocks did you encounter along the way?

“My own confidence issues - I have always had trouble opening up to people, but my classmates at NSS really helped me become more outgoing through the process. Asking for help is still a challenge, but everyone at NSS has shown me that even the simplest of problems can stump even the most experienced dev.”
