i.Learn: Intro To Web Development

i.Learn: Intro To Web Development gives you a hands-on introduction to web development technologies and careers. In this 3-week part-time course, you will learn how to build a website and discuss a variety of digital career paths.

Part-time: Saturdays (9am-2pm) + Tuesday/Thursday evenings (6-9pm)

No prior experience needed
Cost: $200

Hands-on Introduction to Web Technologies

The best way to learn technology is hands-on with guided in-person instruction. No prior technical experience is needed. Learn from an experienced instructor from Nashville Software School.

Learn to Build a Website

Build your first website with our help! We will introduce you to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The skills learned in this class can be used to design & edit email templates, customize templates from Wordpress, Squarespace, and other website templates, or even build a simple website.

Explore Digital Career Paths

Learn about careers in technology and the skills needed for those careers. We will share ways you can gain these skills, including degree programs, bootcamp, and self-study.

Intro to Web Development will you a quick whirlwind tour of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and more. You also get a taste of what life as a developer could be like.

Will this class give me the skills to become a web developer?

No. This class serves as an introductory to the skills required to be a web developer. In class we will talk about several paths to get the skills needed to get a job as a junior web developer.

Will I be able to build a website?

Yes. You will be able to build a website with basic functionality. You will also have the skills needed to work with Wordpress templates, Squarespace templates, and email templates.
