We’ve been sharing about our continuing education courses a lot lately, but so far all of the classes have been filled by current NSS Seekers, our graduates seeking their first job in tech. That is until now! We’re excited to open up our Advanced SQL For Developers course to those in the community as a part of our ProTech initiative. Students who meet the ProTech eligibility criteria and are accepted into the course will be able to take the class for free! Yes. Free! The ProTech initiative is a creative solution to support junior and intermediate tech job seekers in keeping their tech skills sharp and acquiring new skills to remain in the talent pool. Advanced SQL for Developers is ideal for junior or intermediate developers who want to improve their working knowledge of SQL and enhance their understanding of database design and performance. It starts with a basic SQL refresher and launches into more advanced SQL functionality. The course covers database design, manipulation of data, complex queries, extensibility, transactions and analysis and performance.
This course is open to applicants who meet the normal prerequisites for this course and the ProTech eligibility criteria:
Advanced SQL for Developers is a part-time evening course and will run from August 11th through September 24th. Classes are held online Mondays and Wednesday from 6 to 9 pm CT.
