On Tuesday we graduated 25 new full stack Ruby developers and 15 new full stack C#/.NET developers.
Evening Cohort 5
Evening 5 is eager to get to the root of the problem and asks informed questions. - Nathan Gonzales, Instructor
These 15 graduates spent 3 evenings a week and Saturdays for a full year pursuing a career in software development while working full-time jobs during the day. And that doesn’t include the time spent outside of class! Here is what they learned:
- Front-end development using HTML/CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJS, and lots of other tools, APIs, libraries, and frameworks
- Server-side development with C#/.NET, including test-driven development, SQL, and more, in a full agile, mock-company environment
Day Cohort 21
A team who cares and supports each other, Cohort 21 always exceeded any expectations set for them. They are a group of bright and inquisitive students who like to push the limits and are eager to learn anything and everything they come across. - Jisie David, Instructor
These 25 graduates spent 5 days a week for six months learning the craft of software development. Plus they spent time outside of class working on projects and going to meetups! Here is what they learned:
- Front-end development using HTML/CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJS, and lots of other tools, APIs, libraries, and frameworks
- Server-side development with Ruby on Rails, including test-driven development, SQL, and more, in a full agile, mock-company environment

Throughout the day graduates had the chance to talk with our friend Clark Buckner about their experience at NSS and their capstones. You can listen to their interviews below.
After a busy day, Cohorts 21 and Evening 5 gathered for their final “John Talk” where John reminded them of how far they’ve come since day one. While graduation marks an important milestone, it’s just the beginning of their learning. See our photos from Demo Day in our photo gallery.
